In response proposed “energy independence” concept from the Pickens Plan, former Intel CEO Andy Grove has put forth a differing vision of “energy resilience,” focusing on a much larger base of electrical generation capacity, relying on chargers and batteries to take over half of the fuel needs of the transportation sector. That I can get behind, as the notion of transitioning to a natural gas-based transportation economy seems kind of crazy.
